Brings back a lot of memories!
I saw Modest Mouse at Radio City Music Hall many years ago in the movies for the first time. My sons, who are 7 and 10, were now introduced to my favorite childhood story. The woman who played Modest Mouse was amazing, and Bert was incredible. It was a little fast paced. The songs and dancing were great and the costumes were beautiful. My sons were both amazed by being able to be so up close to see how the scenery moved up and down and all around, so it was the engineering they were most enthralled with because they are boys. Even though the story was similar to the movie, I don't think you could really get it if you haven't seen the movie. I am now 41. I think the story went really fast. I personally enjoyed it a lot because of the memory I had. It brings back a great memory and brought tears into my eyes because of that. I think it was a little long for my 7 year old and because of the British accents and the quick talking, both my boys constantly asked "what did they say?". All in all, I think my final review is this, if you loved the movie, you'll definitely want to see this show. We sat 6th row on the side.
